Bug: Full‑scale regression testing must be performed thoroughly on the 0.20.X release

What happened?

Since upgrading to 0.20.X, we have encountered multiple issues including core dumps, query crashes and checkpoint crashes. We ask everyone to rigorously test this release and stabilize it, as rollback is no longer possible after the upgrade. The prior 0.18.X version was relatively stable.

Are there known steps to reproduce?

My suggestion is to get involved in the testing before the release goes out instead of after.

Things that could be done better:

• feature gate for plan caching
• flood of PRs right after release
• extension version mismatch (this was a release pipeline error)

Like you suggested, more rigorous nightly tests can be added without slowing down PR workflow.
