Summary:
Several .bak files exist in api/v1 as local backups. They are ignored by git, but we should clean up generation flow so script outputs are clearer and backup artifacts do not accumulate.
Needed work:
- Review why .bak files are produced
- Decide whether backups should go to a temp/drafts folder instead
- Keep api/v1 clean and publish-ready
- Document regeneration workflow for master datasets
