'Perplex file upload' does not trigger 'Save all Uploaded Files' for Export

Umbraco Forms: 7.0.3

We have a form with a 'Perplex file upload', with 'Multi upload' set to false. When we select 'Export' on the Entries view in the backoffice, we only xee 'Excel File'. We do not see 'Save all Uploaded Files', as shown in the Forms documentation.

Please tell me there is a way to export the 'Perplex file upload' files. We have hundreds of submissions, each has a (required) file upload, that we need to get out of Forms. How do we export the file uploads?

I was not aware of this, but unfortunately the "Save all uploaded files"-functionality is something that comes with Umbraco Forms (and not through our package). I have no clue how we could trigger this, and we should ask Umbraco how this should be implemented. Because it's closed source we have no idea at the moment how to do this.

Our source code is open source by the way (see https://github.com/PerplexDigital/Perplex-Umbraco-Forms) so feel free to enable this yourself.

At this moment there's no easy way to export all files. Or not one that I'm aware of. Sorry for that.

The only workaround is that all these files are on the server probably in one folder in a structure called: \media\forms\upload<GUID-OF-THE-FORM>. You can go directly to your server and download / zip them and send them over to your client. It is a workaround, but it maybe fixes your problem for now.

Thanks for the prompt reply, and the helpful information, @JeffreyPerplex! That file system location is just what I needed. (In hindsight, I am sure I could have found that in your open source.)

It appears it is possible to "restore" this functionality as part of 'Umbraco Forms on Perplex Steroids'. I will attempt to do just that with my solution, which I hope results in a PR here.
