[feature request] Add Agentgateway Linux Foundation project

I am not sure the official process to get added as a non-CNCF project but @lukaszgryglicki suggested to open an issue and ping @caniszczyk so doing such.

https://agentgateway.dev/ is a new-ish Linux Foundation project (https://www.linuxfoundation.org/press/linux-foundation-welcomes-agentgateway-project-to-accelerate-ai-agent-adoption-while-maintaining-security-observability-and-governance) which would love to be included in devstats, as its a great tool we have been using in other CNCF projects and missing in agentgateway.

Please let me know if this is possible and if there is anything you need from me to make it work! Thanks!

Is there a reason that https://insights.linuxfoundation.org/project/agentgateway?timeRange=past365days&start=2025-03-17&end=2026-03-17 isn't good enough? We'd prefer to keep devstats CNCF only

Hi Jonathan!

Per Chris’s request, going to share what I see as feedback for improvements.

I wish LFX is as easy to use as devstats. I must be biased as I have been using devstats for 10 years. 😅 One thing super confusing with LFX is this link Chris gave to me(https://insights.linuxfoundation.org/project/agentgateway?timeRange=past365days&start=2025-03-17&end=2026-03-17) showed 69 active contributors, while my link (https://insights.linuxfoundation.org/project/agentgateway/repository/agentgateway_agentgateway?timeRange=past365days&start=2025-03-17&end=2026-03-17) showed 100 active contributors. This inconsistence makes data not trustable. 😅

Also, it is hard to find out contributor's company info via LFX insight, which is one of the most useful feature of devstats.

The health score from LFX insight isn’t particularly helpful either. For example, the 2nd link showed yellow for development, while the first link showed green for development.

The info people usually need is:

{contributions,PRs,issues} X {user,company} X {select repos or all} X {last N days or a graph over time}

LFX insights is providing a bunch of stuff that is not very useful, could be wrong or misleading, and not providing that info...

For example we saw a big contributor from redhat on the project, but we can’t identify/validate who given the data presented us wasn’t useful to help us. It is also entirely possible the company affiliation isn’t correct.
