Problems with large commits

It would nice to have a way to prevent diff emails being sent for medium-to-large sized commits. I just had a commit with a diff of ±2000 lines causing real problems on a dev server, with Ruby eating 1G+ of RAM.

We are also experiencing this issue, please let us know if there's a config option for this or a good workaround!
