In the par files of this data release, many parameters are not set to 'fit'
While this does not invalidate the data release, like for InPTA DR1, this makes DR2 very time-consuming to deal with. The fit flags are sometimes not set to 'fit' for a reason, and the GW analysis teams rely on the PTAs to only leave the parameters 'fixed' if we really know what they are. In the InPTA data releases this is not done consistently, which means anyone who uses the InPTA datasets will have to manually inspect and correct all .par files.
I suspect the InPTA has used other .par files when doing the GW analysis? Because if not, that will basically have to be re-done
