I was trying to build a mqtt client with Tasker support (because the existing plugin no longer works on newer versions of Android and join can't handle brokers requiring a password) but had problems getting this started. Apparently there used to be a Tasker plugin framework on git but it doesn't exist anymore. Including the Tasker plugin library generates a gradle compatible issue.
