New features:

• Reach a device's rack actions from inside its own dialog

  • A Device menu in the button row opens Settings, Insert FX and Sends,
    and imports or exports the device's settings
  • Importing a file of another type hands over to that device's dialog

• Add a second style for the tracker's volume meters

  • A ladder of thin lines in the accent colour, next to the original
    gradient bar, picked from Settings

• Give every device an automatable Expression control on MIDI CC 11

  • Scales what the device hands over, so the Fader stays the trim and
    moving it scales the whole automated curve with it
  • Applied after the insert effects, so an automated fade cannot change
    how hard they are driven

• Copy the settings of an automation onto another

  • A picker lists the automations already in the song, and fills either
    the Add automation form or a row of the Edit automations dialog from
    the one clicked, for MIDI CC and Pitch Bend alike

• Add a four-operator FM synth

  • Eight algorithms, eight operator waveforms and feedback
  • Per-operator ratio, detune, velocity sensitivity and key scaling
  • The dialog draws the routing of the selected algorithm
  • Sixteen factory presets, plus a button that assembles a patch at random
  • A built-in delay on an LFO / Effects tab, and a numbered preset list,
    both as on the Synth

Bug fixes:

• Let a knob's value be typed while the song plays

  • Playback took the keyboard back to the editor on every line, so the
    value field lost the focus as fast as it got it

• Extend a mouse selection over several columns

  • A drag stayed in the column it started from, and now also leaves the
    cursor where it was released

• Show automation curves in the pattern peek

  • The offset areas drew the neighbouring pattern's notes but not its
    MIDI CC or Pitch Bend curves

• Give the accept button its accent outline in every dialog

  • Dialogs using standard buttons were left with the Universal style's
    own, among them all four automation dialogs

• Fix the Sampler clicking on a repeated note

  • A retrigger dropped the sounding voice where it stood instead of
    fading it out

• Fix the Sampler's playhead standing still in chromatic mode

  • A pad is addressed by its octave root, but its voices carry the note
    played

• Fix the AppImage failing to start on a Wayland session

  • The Wayland plugins were copied in without a runpath, so they could
    not see the Qt libraries bundled beside them
  • Only a host with its own Qt to fall back on ever started

Other:

• Replace the Synth's presets with a curated set

  • Eighteen patches in place of 127, a quarter of which were inaudible
  • The preset selector is shown again, without the bank and save controls

• Drop the Synth's user presets

  • Existing projects still load; any slots saved in them are discarded
