Is migration to 0.17 planned?

What steps need to be taken?

It's planned, I intend to push out lua declaration files support before migrating though. The steps are generally:

• Update bevy
• Fix up errors according to Migration Guide
• if non trivial issues arrive re-architect around them
• re-generate bindings xtask codegen. This step might involve the most pain. If bevy updated its minimum supported rust version, the compiler plugin might need updating to match the new rustc internals
  • if we're lucky this is either not needed as the versions are compatibile, or the changes are trivial
