Hi, I was wondering if there's a way to directly modify run_id metadata in the database file. For example, I have relevant data from run_id 1 to 10, then some garbage data from 11-15 and then again relevant data from 16-20. I would like to delete data corresponding to run_id 11-15 and instead reassign the run_id for 16-20 to be instead 11-15. Is that doable? Thanks |

Ashish Panigrahi (@paniash) You are free to interact with the database using sqlite directly or perhaps to export all the relevant runs to a different database. However, by design QCoDeS does not expose such functionality as we, as far as possible, consider captured runs as immutable that cannot be changed after they are captured. |

I was referring to using this https://microsoft.github.io/Qcodes/examples/DataSet/Extracting-runs-from-one-DB-file-to-another.html to export the runs you wish to keep to a different db
