Authorization request: AI-assisted contributions from @arhxam #1085

Description

@arhxam

Request

I am requesting authorization for AI-assisted contributions to nodejs/node made under my GitHub account, @arhxam.

Automation owner and tool

  • Owner/operator: @arhxam
  • Tool: OpenAI Codex, operated interactively through Conductor
  • Identity: all GitHub interactions use my existing @arhxam account; no separate bot account or GitHub App is involved

Intended interactions

Codex may help me:

  • inspect public issues, source, tests, and existing pull requests;
  • prepare small, independently reviewable, issue-backed fixes;
  • run regression tests, linters, and build checks locally;
  • push branches and open pull requests under @arhxam;
  • monitor CI and respond to review feedback on those pull requests.

It will not merge pull requests, approve/review other contributors' work, mass-comment on issues, or automatically create speculative issues. Pull requests will disclose AI assistance and include the exact tests and validation performed.

Volume and safeguards

The immediate project is up to six useful, non-overlapping contributions. Before opening each pull request, I will check for an existing or competing fix, use a regression-first workflow for behavior changes, and keep each change narrowly scoped. I understand the repository's finite review capacity and the current discussion in #1084; I will follow any lower limit or sequencing requested by collaborators.

Please let me know whether this workflow is authorized, or what constraints I should apply before publishing contributions.
