Eden (Nintendo Switch)

• First release is 8 months ago
• Under GPLv3 license, so I guess no proprietary elements
• Currently active
• I am not sure if it is stable since it is a relatively recent emulator project (Although derived from previous Switch emulators)
• It has a User Handbook
• As for the Privacy criteria, most likely there are no advertisement. I don't know if they are sending any analytics.

Vita3K (PlayStation Vita)

• Project is atleast 8 years old but is in active development
• According to its README.md "The project is in an early stage, so please be mindful when opening new issues. Expect crashes, glitches, low compatibility and poor performance." Therefore not stable. ❌
• Under GPLv2 license
• Wiki is mainly for developers
• As for the Privacy criteria, same thing applies.

Vita3K's stability is to be expected as it is a relatively new one compared to other emulators such as PPSSPP and Dolphin. According to their website, 61.56% of PS Vita games are playable as of the time I am writing this.

Cemu (Nintendo WiiU) is an android port of Cemu which started in 2015 and was recently open-source in 2022 under MPL-2.0. The android port started development possibly around 2023.

• Both the main and android fork are active.
• The Android fork refers to the main website for additional information like the wiki
• The main is reportedly stable, I am not sure if the same applies to the android fork.
• As for the Privacy criteria, most likely there are no advertisement. I don't know if they are sending any analytics.

Amusingly, this section was written three years ago. All the mentioned problems also apply for almost all SW projects. 😄
Given it's under development for years, I guess we can consider it somewhat stable – or are there any experiences from users? The bug tracker doesn't list a disproportionate number of severe bugs, either.

If that message is simply an "expect bugs" kind of thing then I guess one can assume its stable considering it's atleast 8 years old and still active.
