Explain the information in the left window #325

It's basically just a collection of "stuff" that JS8Call sees coming in on the band. You can select what columns you want to show, and how it's sorted. I consider it to be a bunch of "noise" and many times it's not coherent because it can have stuff on a particular offset from several callsigns that transmitted on that offset. I generally select in the Settings to expire stuff out of that pane in 20 minutes because IMO it's not exceedingly useful. |

Thank you for this answer! I had set the expiration to disabled because I am away from the station for extended periods and didn't want to miss anything. I adjusted this setting and now things are more quiet. It's a shame that the info it displays on the hover doesn't also show a timestamp. That would make it more useful if the expiration is longer than a few minutes. |
Uh oh!

Can someone explain what I am seeing when I hover over an entry in the left window? In the screenshot I have attached, I hovered over the entry that starts with 1944 Hz. That gives me a popup with several rows of data. How do I interpret all of this properly? I can't make heads or tails of what I am seeing.
