Nothing happens when opening after installation

Windows 11 22H2, domain joined machine, have ESET AV, downloaded latest phoenixcode version 5.1.24

Install all goes ok.

When I open Phoenix code I just get the standard screen, no initial dialog and if I try to select commands e.g. File, Open Files, nothing happens! Folder icon top left does nothing either.

I have disabled ESET and tried again without any success. We do block MS Store app on our network by group policy but took machine out of GPO so that MS Store could run but that made no difference. Any ideas?

Thanks for reporting this. Could you open Debug → Show Developer Tools, select the Console tab, and share any errors shown there? A screenshot or copied console output would help us identify what is happening.

OK, lots of errors - perhaps something to do with UNC paths? Our users documents folders are redirected to an MS network distributed file system (DFS) namespace location (\\adroot.pma.co.uk\pma_namespace\users....):

Hey @JamesBourneGH, thanks for the detailed logs, I found the issue.

Your Documents folder is redirected to a network UNC path (\adroot.pma.co.uk...) and Phoenix currently only handles local drive paths like C:, so startup fails while setting up the default projects folder and the whole app stalls and nothing comes up!

We'll fix this in an upcoming release. I'll update here when it ships. Apologies for the issue!
