Description
Update the "engines" > "node" field in package.json to 22 to bump the minimum required Node version to the latest LTS version still receiving updates.
Notes
- Node 18 went EOL in April of 2025; Node 20 went EOL in April of 2026
- Node 22 will continue to receive updates through April of 2027
- CI should be switched to run on Node 22
- Local dev and docs should be updated to point developers to Node 22
esbuild can still target Node 18, but we should no longer guarantee support
