🐾 Meet the Buddies - Show Us Your Companion!

[1270011]

Your buddy is alive and well. Time to introduce them to the world.

Drop a screenshot or terminal output of your companion — we want to see them all.
Whether you got yours by fate or found them through bun run hunt every buddy is real and every buddy counts.

What to share:

• Your buddy's name, species, and rarity
• A screenshot or terminal capture
• Their peak stat (and how it fits their personality)
• Anything your buddy said that made you laugh

Bonus points for a one-sentence origin story.
Why does your Legendary Cactus with max CHAOS feel like the one?

I'll post mine in the comments after work 🐾

Mira, my beloved owl - always commenting my code 🥲

Here she is and also what she has to say:

This really made me laugh - she's literally greating us all.
No wonder with her 100 patience and only 52 chaos.

And here probably the most funny thing I heard about her - she thanks herself for beeing introduced:

So what about your buddies? Feel free to share!

Thank you so much my little Capybara is back again :D

Running this on Windows 11 inside Powershell terminal

for others who use windows once you follow the OPs Install instructions go to C:/users/YOURUSERNAME/.claude edit the settings.json and for the entries for Claude-Buddy replace the command line with (EXAMPLE):

ORIGINAL buddy-status.sh entry:
G:\\repos\\claude-buddy\\statusline\\buddy-status.sh

Change to:
G:/repos/claude-buddy/statusline/buddy-status.sh

also because I haven't personally setup WSL fully yet I added Git Bash my bin folder in an ADMIN elevated powershell via:

[Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable("PATH", "C:\Program Files\Git\bin;" + [Environment]::GetEnvironmentVariable("PATH", "Machine"), "Machine")

then after changing the \ to / in my ./claude/settings.json my Capybara reappeared in my new Claude code session in a new powershell after the above Git Bash elevation on my machine

Note: I installed using the DEFAULT main branch not the windows-experimental branch

edit: Fixed typo and added note section
