Thanks to the rough author for the great work, especially the design and implementation of the various drawing and filling algorithms and for making it all available -- really nice stuff!!
To extend Rough's reach even further, I've made a full port from this Javascript version to Python:

which publishes to PyPi.
It loses the valuable interactive nature of Javascript, but is helpful for cases with static images (documentation) and is friendly for sketchy services and batch jobs. Small bonuses like text handling and gradients, with many colorful examples and tests.
