[Feature Request] include solid unit-test setup for scaffolding as an opt-in feature

Problem to solve

I always struggle in the initial project setup. Your create vuetify script is great. On the other hand, create vue offers a few other nice options, like cypress setup etc.:

Proposed solution

It would be awesome, if you would sync, either by adding their new features to your script, or even better by providing the same script for vue and vuetify.

see vuejs/rfcs#806 as well, where I proposed the same to the vue team.

It will be hard to move with the issue defined so vaguely. Please make up your mind - either ask for a specific feature we should borrow from create vue or the Cypress setup.

If you would go with the latter, I am genuinely surprised the setup is any problem - their team provides GUI setup wizard (!) and it adds all the necessary files. By creating those ourselves we (1) have one more piece to maintain and (2) need to ask the same questions the wizard does. It is only a bit annoying to create dummy vite.config.ts when setting it up for Nuxt-based project.

Hi @J-Sek, thank you for your quick response, and sorry for my late one.

I fully understand that it is a pain to maintain config wizards.
As simple and kind of new vue.js user I would appreciate to find only one wizard, ideally in the vue.js repo, that would setup a best practice vue.js project, optionally including vuetify, cypress etc.
Checking out Nuxt, I see they also have their own wizard :-D.

Maybe my request is in vain, feel free to close it.
