JamTag is a mobile app in development for organizing songs with custom tags and creating playlists from the tags you select.
A song can fit more than one playlist. It might be great for a late-night drive, a workout, or a particular mood. JamTag lets you describe those connections with tags, then mix and match them when you want something different to listen to.
Instead of maintaining a separate playlist for every combination of moods and activities, organize your music once and reuse those tags.
For example, you could tag songs with:
- Mood: upbeat, nostalgic, mellow
- Activity: studying, driving, working out
- Sound: acoustic, electronic, instrumental
Then select tags to build a playlist around what you feel like hearing. Tags are yours to define rather than limited to a fixed set of categories.
JamTag is actively being developed and is not yet a finished product.
The interface was designed in Figma. Currently working on the React Native application, Spotify integration, and backend persistence for users' music organization data.
