Alireza Moslemihaghighi — academic website

This repository contains the source for aastroa.github.io, a bilingual English/Persian academic website built with a small, site-specific Jekyll setup.

Structure

• _pages/ contains the English and Persian pages.
• _publications/ contains publication detail pages.
• _layouts/ and _includes/ contain the shared page shell.
• _sass/_site.scss is the complete design system for both languages.
• assets/js/site.js contains the mobile navigation, tabs, and reveal behavior.
• scripts/check_site.rb verifies required routes and local assets after every build.

There is no remote theme, inherited template, npm bundle, jQuery layer, or template update process. The production workflow builds exactly the source committed here and deploys only after validation passes.

Run locally

bundle install
bundle exec jekyll serve

Then open http://127.0.0.1:4000.

Validate

JEKYLL_ENV=production bundle exec jekyll build --trace
ruby scripts/check_site.rb _site

Pull requests run the same build and validation. A push to master deploys the validated _site artifact to GitHub Pages.

Fonts

Inter and Vazirmatn are self-hosted from Fontsource and distributed under the SIL Open Font License. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.
