Summary

Reorganize the OpsQuest documentation around clearer visitor journeys and reduce clutter in the public Zensical site.

Changes

  • Group the Zensical navigation into four collapsible sections:
  • Play
  • How OpsQuest works
  • Contribute
  • Project
  • Consolidate overlapping mission, progression, curriculum, authoring, and roadmap pages.
  • Move iteration reports, implemented decisions, and GitHub governance documentation outside the public site.
  • Retire the duplicated initial_prompt.md.
  • Correct and relocate the learning-journey diagram.
  • Clean duplicate generated changelog entries and obsolete Release Please configuration.
  • Add make check-docs to validate:
  • public navigation ownership and page metadata
  • public versus repository-only documentation boundaries
  • mission counts and diagram claims
  • documented Go requirements
  • retired paths and duplicate documentation
  • Adopt Go 1.26.0 as the minimum version and Go 1.26.5 as the preferred toolchain.

Compatibility

  • Gameplay, profiles, mission identifiers, and sandbox behavior are unchanged.
  • Building from source now requires Go 1.26 or newer.
  • Some documentation URLs changed as pages were consolidated.
  • Historical iteration reports remain available in the repository under project/history/.

Validation

  • make check-all
  • make docs-check
  • make check-docs
  • git diff --check
  • Strict Zensical build: 16 public pages, no invalid links
  • Generated navigation verified as collapsible

make release-check could not run because GoReleaser v2 was not installed locally.
