Browser downloads previously lost their uncommitted data when a page or Worker closed. Add an explicit Worker OPFS checkpoint sink that reopens only the selected stored artifact, validates its full identity and saved prefix, and receives the remaining bytes under current host authority. Exclusive Web Locks and native data handles prevent another tab from writing the same partial; cancellation retains checkpoints and drains in-flight metadata writes before releasing ownership.
The shared streaming verifier and transfer queue now support explicit download recovery with separate resumed/new-byte metrics. This integrates the existing 0.10 streaming, upload and queue work, updates release documentation, and adds a disposable two-tab/host-restart browser example. No DDS product or private Engine deployment is included.
Validation: 350 tests, 53 schemas, TypeScript and an independent installed consumer (256 packaged files) pass locally. New tests cover metadata-close ambiguity, short writes, tail trimming, verified previous-checkpoint fallback, corrupt/missing/expired/foreign partials, revoked authority, capacity, cancellation and real HTTP host restart after source deletion. Windows Chromium 154 verified 2 MiB checkpoint cancellation, page reload, host restart, cross-tab conflict and recovery after owner-tab termination with full stored hashes. Other browsers and power-loss durability remain unqualified. Windows/Linux × Node 22/24 CI must pass before merge.
Tracks DDS-149. Public GitHub archive download/hash/compatibility and CMS Docs publication are verified after merge, before closing the 0.10 milestone.
