Andersseen/README.md

Hi, I'm Andrii Pap

Frontend-focused full-stack developer building open-source UI systems, developer tools, and browser-native platforms.

Portfolio · Blog · Technical writing · Repositories

What I build

Most of my work sits at the intersection of modern Angular, Web Components, browser-native tooling, and edge infrastructure.

I enjoy building accessible UI primitives, declarative animation systems, local-first applications, developer tooling, and full-stack products that run close to the user. I prefer standalone and signal-first Angular, framework-agnostic foundations, strict TypeScript, real automated tests, and open-source projects with useful documentation.

My repositories are designed as an ecosystem rather than isolated demos: the libraries below are reused across products such as Angular Lab, Vertex, and my portfolio.

Core open-source libraries

Project What it does
And Libs · Docs A layered, multi-framework UI stack: headless state machines, Stencil Web Components, DOM behaviors, layout primitives, motion, icons, Angular/React/Vue/Astro adapters, MCP tooling, and agent skills.
Volt UI · Live docs A copy-and-own Angular UI system with 40 accessible components, a CLI, Tailwind CSS v4 themes, signals, and zoneless support.
Angular Movement · Live docs Declarative motion for Angular powered by the Web Animations API: presets, springs, drag, scroll, parallax, presence, stagger, and SVG path animation.
Quartz Headless · Live docs Unstyled, accessible Angular primitives for overlays, dialogs, splitters, drag and drop, virtual scrolling, tooltips, trees, and other design-system behavior.
Lumen Icons A tree-shakeable Angular SVG icon library with searchable documentation and optional per-icon CSS animations.

Platforms, products, and experiments

Project What it explores
Vertex An open-source IDE platform for the browser and desktop, built with Angular, Tauri, CodeMirror 6, browser runtimes, WebContainers, and embeddable Web Components.
Angular Lab An interactive learning platform for modern Angular with guided missions, editable examples, in-browser execution, progress sync, and achievements.
Palette Crafter · Live app and API A deterministic OKLCH palette generator with WCAG contrast auditing, multiple export formats, and an edge-cacheable HTTP API.
ForgeCMS An experimental, code-first TypeScript headless CMS foundation for Angular and Analog.js, designed around Cloudflare D1 and R2.
Wisp A lightweight, self-hosted PaaS for a single VPS: Git-to-container deployments, an Angular dashboard, Docker, Caddy, Elysia, and SQLite.
flowview An experimental Rust compiler that transforms Angular-inspired HTML control flow into plain JavaScript render functions, with Astro and Vite integrations.
astro-dx · Live demos Angular-inspired signals, services, DOM bindings, and template tooling for Astro client-side scripting.

Other current work includes Motion Recipes, Prompt Hub, DevToolbox, DevFlare, GSAP Blocker, and Material Blocks.

Current toolbox

  • Frontend: Angular, Analog.js, Astro, Web Components, Stencil, Lit, Tailwind CSS
  • Backend and edge: Node.js, Bun, Hono, Elysia, Cloudflare Workers, Pages, D1, and R2
  • Tooling: TypeScript, pnpm, Turborepo, Nx, Vite, Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright
  • Native and infrastructure: Tauri, Rust, Docker, Caddy, SQLite, and Drizzle

Principles

  • Accessible and keyboard-friendly by default
  • SSR-safe, framework-aware, and browser-native where possible
  • Source ownership and composable packages over unnecessary lock-in
  • Local-first data when a backend is not justified
  • Tests, documentation, and explicit project status instead of polished demos with unclear foundations

Writing and collaboration

I write practical articles about frontend architecture and web development on Medium.

I'm open to collaboration around Angular, Web Components, animation systems, design-system infrastructure, browser tooling, and edge-first applications.
