Currently you can set a custom chat wallpaper background. This is a universal wallpaper that is the same for every contact. I suggest also adding an option to set a custom wallpaper per contact.
Why do you think it is useful:
This helps differentiate between contacts better, avoiding sending messages to the wrongly selected contact. Also aesthetic and preferential reasons of course.
