I initially created the feat/new-presence branch when RTM (the current friends/invites/chat/etc system) was in the transition phase. It's been over a year now, and it has fully replaced the old system. Systems that I saw hints for are now full-fledged shipped features. This branch is far from finished but seeing as the old presence system is gone, I feel it's fair to mainline this.
