Roman's microlensing yield depends on the spacing and duration of its observing windows. We use PyLIMA to simulate light curves with adjustable gaps between those windows.
Set ROMANYIELDESTIMATES_PATH to the checkout directory when using the pipeline from another location. If it is unset, the repository uses its checkout root. Place the required sources.txt, lenses.txt, and roman_gbtds_noise_model.txt inputs in the ignored data/ directory. The pipeline does not generate these observational and model inputs. Local figures belong in the ignored visuals/ directory.
