--repeattakes several frames per channel, so one channel can be sampled repeatedly rather than only sweptexpose()returns success even when the readout timed out, so a repeated frame number is the only available sign the buffer never moved; a repeat is now reported as a failure instead of handing back the same data twice--keep-configreads the ACF host-side only and--modenames the mode, for a controller whose configuration should be left alone
