Version bump for the 4.1.7 release. electrum/version.py only — nothing else in the tree hardcodes the version.

What 4.1.7 carries

Everything the Windows field test turned up, plus what came out of checking it:

#23 every fee slider step is now one the miner will accept. Eight of twelve were below the floor, and a rate saved by an older version survived the upgrade until fee_per_kb() started clamping it
#16 enabling the fiat display no longer raises a TypeError per rendered amount
#17 the rate is the currency that was selected, not always dollars
#18 no empty history column — the free plan has no history to offer, and the wallet now says so by not asking
#24 ten of eleven rate sources were pricing Bitcoin. Only sources that quote this chain are offered
#20 the description column has a handle to grab; it was 104 px and fixed
#22 four bundled servers in four buckets, in both address families — over IPv6 a different pair collided than over IPv4
#19 Windows resolves its own names again, instead of through whatever resolver a long-dead network adapter left in the registry

First release that went through CI

There had been none since July 2021 (#33). main now runs flake8 and 183 unit tests on every push.

Two latent breakages surfaced while setting that up and are fixed in this release: protobuf had no upper bound, so a fresh pip install -r contrib/requirements/requirements.txt produced a package that could not parse a payment request; and the fiat defect had made test_wallet.py hang rather than fail, which is why nobody had seen it.

Still open, deliberately

Everything the field test turned up: fee slider steps the miner will accept
(#23), the fiat display no longer raising a TypeError per rendered amount and
no longer showing dollars under a euro label (#16, #17, #18), only sources
that quote this chain (#24), a description column that can be dragged (#20),
four bundled servers in four buckets rather than three (#22), and Windows
resolving its own names again (#19).

First release that went through CI -- there has been none here since 2021.
