Add the standalone e-server desktop client with Windows 10+ x64 and Linux x86_64 packaging (Ubuntu DEB, Arch pacman and AppImage). First run asks for the user's private server address; server credentials and backend source are never bundled.
Includes a sandboxed remote renderer, isolated native bridge, system-browser authentication handoff, secure-keyring session persistence, native file saves/uploads, permission prompts, tray and window state, single-instance/deep-link support, and verified per-user updates following the launcher design. Updates stage in the background and wait for an idle, unfocused client; patch/minor/major state policies are documented.
CI builds all four installers, verifies update ASARs against the packaged source, and runs the actual packaged first screen on Windows and Linux. Eight unit tests cover origin/IPC restrictions, harness TLS ports and update validation/activation/failure cleanup. Native PIN and Microsoft browser-handoff integration was also exercised against the private backend's keyless fixture.
Hold for Delta: do not merge or release automatically. No tag/release or deployed download exists yet. After reviewing all three coordinated PRs, merge this client first, tag
client-v1.0.0, verify all four installers, both update payloads/manifests and SHA256SUMS, then deploy the backend gate and corporate download controls.Windows installers are unsigned. Fresh-OS installation and a real Microsoft tenant session remain manual release checks; CI verifies packaged launch on both operating systems.
