MacroSIP

MacroSIP is a SIP softphone for macOS 14 and newer. It registers several SIP accounts at the same time, handles up to four calls with hold, transfer, local conference and recording, and fits into one small window plus a menu bar icon. The interface is native Swift and SwiftUI, and the SIP engine is PJSIP 2.17; there is no Electron and no Qt.

Versions

Versions read YY.MINOR.PATCH, so the line of 2026 is 26. The first public release is 26.0.0 (14 October 2026); it contains everything this guide describes. 26.0.1 (the same day) ships the interface in English and Russian only.

Later releases bring notarization, video, chat, global hotkeys, MicroSIP import and Bluetooth headset buttons. The full plan is in docs/ROADMAP.md.
