Gemini Apps rejected github-release-0.2.0-gemini-apps-only.zip: "The skill folder contains a file with an unsupported file type." The cause was templates/gitattributes (no extension). The same package without it was accepted (owner upload, 2026-10-08), including .py, .json, .md and .txt.

• python -m unittest discover -s tests: 15 OK
• check_versions.py --version 0.2.1 --previous 0.2.0: PASS
• Build from this branch is byte-identical to the local candidate (6/6 SHA256 match); Gemini ZIP: 24 entries, 0 extensionless
• main @ 22ac756 rebuilt the published 0.2.0 assets identically before the change
• Second commit only restores file modes a copy step had flipped; net diff vs main has 0 mode changes

Not included: merge, tag, draft release, publish, host installs (separate approvals).
