Current completed mapping readback — 2026-09-27/28

The original companion matrix is preserved byte-for-byte in Layev, SHA-256 bc002dbc82b69eb456c1f3d7e11c83d0da5cfe83c699219faa4b88aa54ded405. It has exactly 45 distinct original IDs and 450 project cells. The portable per-feature mapping preserves each original definition/citation and records independent source/test/native/quality/Jev dimensions, exact inspected source revision, code/test/issue links and conservative unknowns. Provenance notes distinguish the companion folder's absent Git identity from its hashed generator and pinned-clone receipts. The 14 distinct original feature-source URLs and extra jaggedness reference were reachable in official current TypeSafe documentation on September 27. Jev-absent modalities/generation/customer fine-tuning/local weights are non-gaps; hosted terms are service policy; proprietary internals remain unknown.

Signed PR #23 passed all five required checks under protected main and merged normally as verified commit f8f3f8757202e1c7752437597beae2f786c2523a. All five post-merge jobs 36362129426 passed. The primary checkout was fast-forwarded cleanly with origin divergence 0 0. The hosted source job ran the new clean-clone matrix verifier and local-link audit. This mapping does not certify full native performance, representative quality, or Jev parity; those issues remain open. Historical inaccessible-matrix descriptions below are retained as dated history.

Current delivery readback — 2026-09-27, after PR #13

The latest inspected main is e1db691cc7710ff808fa1220b16628c0d675d16c, the PR #13 tokenizer-v4 merge. Source commit 078eaf7195b118cdd5c907bc12b0c556d8dae32f is SSH-verified; the merge is verified, and all five main checks passed in run 36312254077. The PR reports 36 passing real pinned-tokenizer cases and 413 local tests with 4 explicit skips, while explicitly retaining missing pretrained weights/CUDA/checkpoint-serving/context/quality/Jev evidence. This session observed that delivery; it did not perform the workstation tests or merge.

The documentation refresh is already merged through PR #12, at ancestor d4de89d1990ff7cf04ee985fca42af13e2f5c79a. Source commit 7e7d8082574e81a6318cc3636cbcb6bf51f64661 is SSH-verified; its merge is verified, and five checks passed in run 36311220169. The TypeScript package is already merged via PR #11. The single Overwatch PR #1 remains draft at ed825bf1c2c4c19eb3de99ad46564c5803bb4a39, with hosted frontend success and backend prerequisite failure rather than zero checks. Do not reapply the historical tokenizer, TypeScript or documentation patches as new work.

The original FEATURE_MATRIX.json still was not retrieved in this session. A companion-research content lookup returned related reports; an exact-title Library lookup returned no matching original file. The specified Windows filesystem is not mounted here. This does not establish absence from the PC. No original IDs or definitions were reconstructed, and no substitute matrix was published. Provenance, all 45 original entries and their current primary-source citations remain unverified. All four acceptance criteria below remain open. Documentation/tokenizer delivery is not full matrix reconciliation or Jev parity. #8 retains the protection blocker.

Original gap and evidence

At the original 080aa7183bb5d8f6576bde9d41e3c5115c7ab132 report, README.md pointed to the companion research matrix, while acceptance-status.json recorded retrieved=false and zero columns. The companion was described as containing 45 original features, but its bytes were not published with Layev; a clean public clone could not audit the promised feature-by-feature acceptance. The then-stale pre-merge/hosted-CI documentation has since been refreshed through PR #12; original-matrix reconciliation remains outstanding.

Related Layev gaps: tokenizer #2, native #3, context #4, quality #5, interface #6, comparative evaluation #7, release policy #8, optional remote publication #10.

Related Overwatch gaps: backend CI/auth CompleteDotTech/Overwatch#2, complete UI path CompleteDotTech/Overwatch#3, malformed cache boundary CompleteDotTech/Overwatch#4, live S3/W&B collection CompleteDotTech/Overwatch#5.

Acceptance — unchanged

  • Verify the companion matrix provenance, all 45 original IDs/definitions and current primary TypeSafe sources; port a source-cited, portable mapping into Layev without inventing feature labels.
  • For every feature, distinguish implemented, tested, native validated, quality measured, Jev compared and unknown, linking the relevant code/tests/issues and current revision. Preserve historical failures and skip reasons.
  • Treat Jev-absent image/audio/video input, free-text generation, customer fine-tuning and local weights as non-gaps. Classify pricing, output-token billing, rate limits, no-training-on-requests and ZDR as deployment/service policy rather than learned-model behavior.
  • Mark undisclosed proprietary RLCD/confidence internals unknown; compare observable outcomes only. Refresh stale release/CI/merge claims against live GitHub readback and keep public links valid in a clean clone.

Historical documentation continuation — delivery status superseded above

The independent layev-readiness-readback.patch recorded on #8 corrected two stale source documents against main 080aa7183bb5d8f6576bde9d41e3c5115c7ab132. SHA-256: e9444783df3510ed8f8ba1c1d55874c970e093c4caa10727751d4bed24131821. It distinguished the already merged Layev source PR and its five successful historical hosted checks from absent protection, the existing draft Overwatch PR, and then-unpublished candidates. Its ledger retained the old base as historical, preserved the original matrix object and historical quality object exactly, kept native/quality/Jev outcomes unknown, and added all 13 issue references. JSON invariants and exact-preimage patch/application checks passed. That candidate was uncommitted, unpushed and unmerged in its original execution session; the later documentation delivery is PR #12 above.

That session also did not retrieve the actual companion file from the specified Windows path or its Library lookup. No original IDs/definitions were reconstructed and no substitute 45-row matrix was created. The documentation refresh was not full feature reconciliation. Historical failures, thresholds, skip reasons and original acceptance requirements are retained rather than promoted to passes.
