# Vercel Web Analytics Installation Successfully installed and configured Vercel Web Analytics for this Docusaurus project. ## Changes Made ### 1. Installed Dependencies - Added `@vercel/analytics` package (version ^2.0.1) to dependencies - Updated `package.json` with the new dependency - Generated `package-lock.json` with the latest dependencies ### 2. Created Analytics Integration - Created `src/theme/Root.tsx` - A custom Docusaurus Root component that wraps the entire application - Imported and added the `<Analytics />` component from `@vercel/analytics/react` - This component will be rendered at the top of the React tree and persist across all pages ## Implementation Details Following the latest Vercel Analytics documentation (fetched from https://vercel.com/docs/analytics/quickstart), I: 1. Installed the `@vercel/analytics` package using npm 2. Created a custom Root component following Docusaurus best practices for adding global components 3. Used the React-specific Analytics import (`@vercel/analytics/react`) as recommended for React-based frameworks 4. Placed the `<Analytics />` component after the children to ensure it doesn't interfere with page rendering The Root component is the recommended approach for Docusaurus to add global functionality that should: - Render on every page - Never unmount during navigation - Persist across the entire application lifecycle ## Testing Performed ✅ TypeScript type checking passed (`npm run typecheck`) ✅ Build completed successfully (`npm run build`) ✅ No linting errors (no linter configured in this project) ✅ No test failures (no tests configured in this project) ## Next Steps To activate Web Analytics: 1. Deploy this application to Vercel 2. Enable Web Analytics in your Vercel project dashboard under the Analytics section 3. Data collection will begin automatically after deployment ## Files Modified/Created - `package.json` - Added @vercel/analytics dependency - `package-lock.json` - Updated with new dependency tree - `src/theme/Root.tsx` - Created new file with Analytics component integration Co-authored-by: Vercel <vercel[bot]@users.noreply.github.com>

This project is managed by Bun. So I expected changes to the bun.lock file instead of creating this one.
