3rd scrum update for Saturday, June 20, 2020.

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

• Created login/homepage animation
• Created new mango logo
• Hooked up Feed component to Redux
• Updated profile component

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• Worked through some issues with getting redux to update and components to re-render

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

• Work on integrating the feed and user states with MongoDB and REST endpoints
• Integrate the task and feed components so that new tasks are added to the feed
• Fix styling/CSS issues
• Refactor/cleanup code

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

• Login/register authentication with Auth0
• Navbar improvements with routes and auth
• About page

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• Filtering through lots of Auth0 documentation to find the "one" that I could follow
• Bootstrap and lots of inspect element to make css juuust right

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

• The current project has some segmented design styles, so the team is planning to get together and finalize the design based on the mockups we have, and implement the css accordingly (changing things to use bootstrap as well)
• Graphs to show user interaction history
• Hopefully some REST endpoints and MongoDB integration

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

Subtask Modal Component:

• Created collapsible subtasks for each task created
• Added progress bar for all the subtasks that changes with how many subtasks a task has and percentage of completion
• Connected the subtask form for adding a subtask to Redux
• Added check mark box for each subtasks that is connected to Redux to change the status of the subtask and updates the progress bar in real time

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• Connecting the the components to Redux
• Making the progress bar works with added subtasks and if a subtask in completed

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

Subtask Component:

• Review the current implementation and research if there is a better solution/approach
• Change the style of the components and refactor code for the path and eslint
• Connect the subtask to MongoDB and update the DB accordingly with changes in subtasks status or addition
• Add features to edit the subtask name and/or delete a subtask

• Calendar package + hooking it up to redux
• added edit mode and delete task
• refactoring Task and extra styling

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• Encountering issues with overwriting scss bootstrap variables

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

• set up mongodb database and hook it up with express
• add sorting and filtering to tasks
• connect feed tasks and personal tasks
