I love to explore the frontier, which in software is at the edge of research and product: machine learning for fusion energy, apps for Apple platforms, and lately a lot of time working on agentic coding.

  • ML tech lead at Sophelio: dFL, a data harmonization and labeling platform that made fusion data analysis 50X+ faster at General Atomics; NSTXplorer, an LLM research assistant for Princeton Plasma Physics Lab
  • Contributor to keras2c: neural networks compiled to C99, running inside the DIII-D tokamak's real-time plasma control system
  • Founder of Cephalopod Studio: App Store apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro, with on-device LLMs, LiDAR photogrammetry, and an app featured by Apple
  • Robotics hobbyist: self-built SO-100 arms, teleoperation, and VLA fine-tuning with LeRobot
