Description: EventTrust is an open-source social impact initiative to help event organisers make fair, transparent, and evidence-based safeguarding decisions.
The platform provides a secure way to document incidents, preserve evidence, manage safeguarding cases, and support GDPR-compliant workflows. It is not a public blacklist or judgement platform, but a professional Trust & Safety infrastructure for events.
We are currently looking for developers, designers, legal professionals, cybersecurity experts, and event organisers who would like to contribute to an early-stage open-source project and help shape the future of event safeguarding.
Hi @Pixep, I’m interested in contributing to EventTrust.
The focus on building a professional Trust & Safety infrastructure rather than a public blacklist is a thoughtful approach. I’d like to help with development and contribute to creating secure, reliable workflows for event organisers.
I’d be happy to start with documentation, small issues, feature implementation, testing, or any other areas where help is needed.
Could you share the current tech stack and the best way for new contributors to get involved?
