ProteinScope is a research and portfolio codebase. The main branch is the only supported development line; dependencies and external data services may change independently of this repository.

Please report security issues privately through GitHub Security Advisories instead of opening a public issue. Include the affected component, a minimal reproduction, and the impact you observed. Do not include API keys, access tokens, or private biological data in the report.

The project may not be able to reproduce issues that require a live third-party service, but reports will be triaged against the current source and tests.
