A curated collection of JavaScript exercises covering arrays, strings, recursion, backtracking, mathematics, and classic data structures.
The repository combines two parts of my learning history:
- standalone solutions collected in 2025 and now grouped by topic;
- selected Rolling Scopes School exercises from 2019, imported with their original Git history.
arrays/ array processing, two pointers, sliding window, search
strings/ parsing and string algorithms
recursion-and-backtracking/ recursion, permutations, combinations
math/ small mathematical exercises
playground/ experiments and scratch work
data-structures/
doubly-linked-list/ tested linked-list implementation (RS School, 2019)
rs-school/
brackets/ configurable bracket-sequence validator
morse-decoder/ encoded Morse message decoder
multiply/ multiplication of integers represented as strings
Most standalone files can be run directly with Node.js:
node arrays/twoSum_nested_loop.jsThe imported RS School projects keep their own package.json and test commands. For example:
cd rs-school/brackets
npm install
npm testThese projects were written for the 2019 curriculum and may declare an older Node.js version. Their original setup files are intentionally preserved as historical artifacts.
The imported projects were originally forks of task starter repositories. Their complete reachable histories—including upstream authors and my 2019 solution commits—are preserved in this repository through subtree merge commits. The original repositories remain available as read-only archives after migration.
Some standalone filenames retain their original learning-era naming so links and context remain recognizable.
