Describe the PUN lifecycle and cleanup behavior introduced by OSC/ondemand#5951.
The command reference now explains waiting for both PID and socket removal,
timeout/retry behavior, PID validation, conservative stale-state recovery,
disabled-user pending records, account-lookup risks and operator recovery.
--forceignores connection counts while retaining safety checks; a printed username is not proof that cleanup succeeded.
This documentation depends on OSC/ondemand#5951. Publish it with the release that
contains that implementation. The patch is based on
developatc58ec11f7dd796f0a7be77ba7664aaa5a9355501, following this repository's README.Validation: both changed pages build with Sphinx 9.1.1 using
-n -Win a focusedproject; patch application and whitespace checks pass. The full documentation
site/container build and spelling workflow still need repository CI. This PR
adds documentation and makes no claim of completing live nginx/Passenger tests.
