Replaces LICENSE with the canonical text from https://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.txt, byte for byte. The previous file was a reworded variant (for example "Licensor" for "the Licensor"). The license is unchanged: Apache-2.0.

Replace the reworded variant with the text published at apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.txt, byte for byte.

AI Description

• Replaces reworded license passages with the canonical Apache-2.0 wording.
• Restores the standard appendix template while keeping the project licensed under Apache-2.0.
High-Level Assessment

Using the upstream license text is the clearest approach. Retaining a customized appendix would undermine the goal of keeping LICENSE canonical; project attribution remains in the README and citation metadata.

Restore canonical Apache-2.0 wording and appendix

• Replaces several reworded passages and the customized appendix notice with the standard Apache-2.0 text. The license designation does not change.
