The research question: are PCA-UMAP-kNN diversity maps structurally robust when the two genotyping panels share no identifiers?

Validation of genetic diversity maps across panels with no shared sample identifiers. Uses graph structure and robustness experiments to assess sensitivity to preprocessing when direct alignment is unavailable.

Four maps of New York taxi zones, each zone colored by its most common trip type: business traffic takes Manhattan on weekday mornings, after-work and dinner trips on weekday evenings, daytime outings on weekend afternoons and nightlife on weekend nights.

K-means over 2.8M NYC taxi trips, grouping them into eight trip types that take turns over the city through the day. The clustering runs on a persistent Go worker pool: 5.8× on 8 workers, and the same result bit for bit on four machines, because partial sums are added in chunk order. Spin checks the synchronization over every interleaving.
