Released GHA binaries currently have no maintained package-manager installation path. This adds a GoReleaser-generated Homebrew cask and Debian, Fedora/RPM, and Arch packages. Package managers own executable upgrades; agent guidance setup remains explicit and compatible-skill checks are preserved.
The live Raithlin/homebrew-tap starts at v0.3.0-alpha. Its Mac CI passed installation of v0.2.0-alpha and upgrade/removal of v0.3.0-alpha on Intel and Apple Silicon, preserving personal guidance. Both releases' archive bytes were verified against their checksum manifests before bootstrap.
GoReleaser 2.19.0 generates the cask on releases, including prereleases, using a tap-only Contents-write token. The secret is configured and the read-only credential check passed; release publication was skipped. Manual Release workflow dispatch checks credentials only, while tag pushes can publish after that preflight. No release was created for this task.
The native package suite passed all five environments: Debian, Fedora, Arch, Intel Mac, and Apple Silicon Mac. It builds two versions, installs and upgrades them, executes the resulting binary, checks package ownership on Linux, preserves customized guidance, and verifies Homebrew rejects a bad checksum. The fixture diagnostic parser has a regression distinguishing checksum rejection from a network failure.
Linux packages first ship in a release containing this configuration. Hosted package repositories and AUR submission are deferred; the maintenance assessment and installation/upgrade instructions are in docs/package-distribution.md. macOS binaries remain unnotarized; no quarantine bypass was added.
Validation: local make check passed lint/race tests with 95.2% statement coverage; hosted Go CI passed. GoReleaser config and full snapshot packaging, Python fixture tests, and shellcheck passed. Architecture refresh produced no changes; guidance-update responsibilities were reviewed and committed architecture-check passed. All checks on final head 416eab2 passed, including native package CI and Build and Test at 95.2% coverage.
Closes TASK-006.
