Installation

You can install the developmental version of AirPlot from GitHub. To use the development version of AirPlot, it is recommended to also install the development versions of swfscAirDAS and CruzPlot:

# install.packages("pak") # Install remotes package if needed
pak::pkg_install("SWFSC/swfscAirDAS")
pak::pkg_install("SWFSC/CruzPlot@modules")
pak::pkg_install("SWFSC/AirPlot")

After updating AirPlot, it is recommended to create and save new workspaces, rather than using workspaces saved with a previous version of AirPlot. Please submit an issue if you run into trouble.

Running AirPlot

To open and run AirPlot locally on your computer, run the following code in RStudio:

AirPlot::airplot_gui()

If text or images overlap within the AirPlot window, you can make the browser window full screen or adjust the text size in your browser (e.g., Ctrl - minus ('-') on Windows systems)
