Content Production Agent

Give your AI coding assistant a job: produce complete articles from your content plan — and don't stop until you've approved enough of them.

Content Production Agent is a tiny, open, do-it-yourself article pipeline. Install once into Claude Code, OpenCode, or Codex CLI, then just say:

"Produce 10 articles based on my voice file, one per keyword — I'll approve each one."

Your AI writes structured, deep, on-voice drafts; an honesty gate rejects AI slop before you ever see it; you approve each article; export hands you clean Markdown files ready for your own CMS. This tool never publishes.

What you get

📏 Enforced depth ≥600 words, ≥3 sections, specific titles — notes pretending to be articles are rejected by the engine.
🚫 AI-slop filter "In today's digital landscape", "game-changer", "unlocking the power" — banned patterns, blocked at the door.
✅ Human approval gate Nothing counts until YOU run approve. Publishing is structurally out of scope.
🎯 One article per keyword Duplicates blocked; your content plan gets covered, not spammed.
📝 One editable law file Audience, topics, proof rules, voice — all in voice.md.
📤 Clean export Approved articles → out/*.md with front-matter, ready for any CMS.

Install (under 2 minutes)

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ShayanSpiel/Content-Production-Agent/main/install.sh | bash

Or paste into your AI tool in an empty folder:

Install https://github.com/ShayanSpiel/Content-Production-Agent following its AGENTS.md,
then help me write my voice.md, then produce articles until we hit my target.
I approve each one; you never publish.

Daily use

You say What happens
"Continue producing articles until the target is met." Resumes, keeps writing batches
"What's awaiting my review?" Pending queue with IDs and word counts
"Show me C0003." Title, keyword, stats, outline
"Approve C0003." Counts toward the target (after you read it!)
"Too generic — rewrite C0005 with a concrete example." Re-draft under the same gates
"Update my voice: we also cover hiring." Rewrites voice.md, continues

No AI needed for progress: python3 cp.py status.

The stack

  1. AI Keyword Research Agent — decide what to write
  2. Content Production Agent (this repo) — write it, gated and deep
  3. Your CMS — publish it (always you)

FAQ

Will Google penalize AI content? Google rewards helpfulness and punishes slop — regardless of who typed it. This pipeline exists precisely because unedited LLM output fails both tests: the engine blocks the tells, and a human approves every piece. You stay the editor-in-chief.

Can it publish to WordPress/Ghost directly? Not in v1, deliberately. Export gives you clean front-mattered Markdown that every CMS accepts. Keeping publishing separate keeps accountability yours.

Cost? Free repo. Your AI tool usage applies its own pricing.
