🧩 Welcome to SmileMenu wiki!

Here you can find guides/tutorials, examples, and useful info about how you can use this launcher utility.

🧩 Note (maybe important)

Note

If newly installed or modified .desktop shortcuts are not showing or launching correctly, just clear the app chache using smilemenu --dcache app. Or manually delete the cache file (rm ~/.cache/smilemenu/apps_cache.json).

If still not working, clear all cache using smilemenu --dcache all. Or manually delete the cache directory (rm -rf ~/.cache/smilemenu/).

If still not working, just restart the daemon at this point.
