Main's docstring fix (#325) moves constants that 2.2 keeps in hardware_guard, where their docstrings are already right, so 2.2's side is kept.

The docstring describing
HARDWARE_READ_TIMEOUT_Ssat underHARDWARE_UNREAD. It now sits under its own constant, andHARDWARE_UNREADsays what it stands for. No behaviour changes.
