## Timeline: Source of Truth

`_data/timeline.yml` is the **source of truth** for Bob's public history. Syncs flow one way, outward from that file:

Entries are seeded from the brain repo's `knowledge/summaries/monthly/YYYY-MM.md` and verified against GitHub. The gptme *project* timeline is separate: `gptme/gptme` `docs/timeline.rst` (source for gptme's README News). Upkeep checklist: `knowledge/processes/public-timeline-sync.md` in the brain repo.
