docs(blog): correct promote status in the dead-analytics post - #98
Conversation
The post said the live bundle was still the old one. Production promoted at 08:06Z; the bundle now carries the key, but the only web events since are from a localhost preview, so it is not yet confirmed by real traffic. Committed with --no-verify: the jekyll-build hook cannot run in this checkout (bundler: command not found: jekyll). All content hooks passed, incl. markdown links; the change is one sentence of prose.
🤖 AI code reviewThis PR updates a blog post about a PostHog analytics outage to correct the status of the production deployment. It changes the text to state that the fix PR merged at 19:01 UTC, the live bundle remained old for the rest of that evening, and production promoted at 08:06 UTC the next morning, with the live bundle now carrying the key. It also adds a caveat that the only $lib=web events since are from a localhost preview, so instrumentation is proven present but not yet proven live by real traffic. Safe to merge — no P0/P1 findingsConfidence 5/5 ✅ No findings. The diff looks correct to me on this pass. Files changed (1) — the diff as I read it

The published post says the live bundle is still the old one. Production promoted at 08:06Z on 2026-09-16 and the live bundle now carries the PostHog key.
Also avoids overclaiming: the only
$lib=webevents since are from a localhost preview, so instrumentation is proven present, not yet proven live by real traffic. Source corrected in ErikBjare/bob@c496ab7126.
