Peon Daily

Peon Daily searches the last 24 hours of AI developments and writes a concise daily briefing. Reports are saved locally by date for quick review.

Requirements

• macOS or Linux
• Claude Code CLI
• On Linux, the service needs systemctl --user (a user D-Bus session); run loginctl enable-linger $USER for the timer to run while you are logged out

Installation

Install the peon-daily command:

./install.sh

Optionally install and load the service for a daily run at 08:00:

./install.sh --service

The service is a launchd LaunchAgent on macOS and a systemd user timer on Linux.

Quick start

peon-daily run
peon-daily status
peon-daily logs

Reports are written to reports/YYYY-MM-DD.md.

Uninstall

peon-daily uninstall
