What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)

I was trying to make changes with the script. I made a directory, copied files from the users log, user log and event log.

What did you learn from the changes you have made?

I learned how to make folders, how to make changes on local repository and match it to the the ones on git hub

Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?

I just followed the instructions. Since I am new to all of this, I didn't have an alternative approach.

Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?

The auto grader kept rejecting my work because I created my own assignment.sh instead of modifying the original one. I LAO had issues identifying the differences between folders versus GitHub branches. I wanted to create the script in the folder because I thought since the repository has been cloned, the folders were branches of it. I realized that a branch is totally different and I got errors trying to make changes to the script I created in the folder. I had to make the script in the branch.

How were these changes tested?

I tested them by running it on bash and also vs code. I ran ls to check what files are present. git status , git add, git commit. I also double checked where my branches were.

A reference to a related issue in your repository (if applicable)
